Low Cost Treatment Resources:
• UC Berkeley Psychology Clinic (510) 642-2055. Clinic is open September through May. Sliding scale is $15-65. Psychotherapy. Therapists are doctoral candidates in clinical psychology
• Bay Area Psychological Services (510) 649-9320. Sliding scale is $20-$75. Psychotherapy. Therapists are MFT interns. Offices in SF, Alameda & Contra Costa Counties.
• Berkeley Therapy Institute (510) 841-8484. Sliding scale is $40-$60. Psychotherapy. Therapists are receiving post-graduate training.
• UCSF – Langley Porter Hospital & Clinics (415) 476-7500. Especially good for Medication Treatment ($50 per med visit, after evaluation fee is paid). $50-$200 for Individual Psychotherapy Session. Therapists are MD’s and PhD’s in post-graduate training. Group Therapy ($50-$100 per visit). Medicaid, Medical & many insurance plans are accepted.
• The Hume Center (925) 825-1793. Privately funded, not-for-profit mental health facility in Concord, CA. Individual, group, medication & partial hospital are available.
